What a privilege it was to do the “introduction to Floristry” course with Gerda in Ladismith. Gerda is an excellent teacher, who uses her vast knowledge in the floral industry to guide you, teaching you the basics while encouraging your self expression and creativity. She is supported by an amazing husband and 5 children, who all play a part in the farm and school, whether it is making up the beds and preparing the meals you eat, doing the garden around the farm, boiling the kettle and washing the dishes and then of course the important work of prepping the flowers. You are hands on from the first moment to the last and are given all sorts of tips that only people who have already been there will know. I will definitely be back for the bridal course and look forward to doing the business model online in the near future.
